To Motivate Is To Be Motivated
A lot of people want to willingly do stuff that makes them succeed in life. However, it is challenging for most people to maintain their actions because of the consistent change in the environment. The factor that affects our behavior most is the inner thought. Like many psychologists and experts in this field said, we are what we think most of the time. How we think determines our actions and therefore determines the results of our work. In this article, we will talk about how we can motivate ourselves via our correct thinking.

I used to think that people can be motivated by money or some inspiring encouragement or some sources of good news etc. I was wrong since I later learn that we are not motivated by outside influences. Instead, our inner mind which sets the condition of motivation plays the major role in this. This is why the outside influences just work according to the conditions which are preset by the inner mind. We set our own rules to feel anything. Once we have learnt this, we will also know the tricks. We will understand that in order to change the feeling toward anything, we need to change our rules first. When we change it, we get any feeling and can achieve doing anything we want in life. The steps that we need to do in order to motivate ourselves include:1. Ask if we have clear goals at this moment.
It has been said again and again that success is nothing more than a goal. If you do not have your goals set, you are not serious about your success. Meaningful goals will motivate you to do necessary things to success. It’s a pity that most people ignore the step and still expect that their lives will be better. Unfortunately, success will never come without goals. Goals setting is therefore the first step to get you motivated.
2. Ask if you have enough reasons to achieve the goals.
Human being is driven by his own thoughts as I mentioned before. In order to have impact of goals setting works on you, you need to have enough reasons why you need to achieve them. Reasons are the best drive. If you have strong enough reason, you will have enough drive to achieve your goals.
3. Ask if you have a plan to achieve what you want.
You may have heard that to fail to plan is to plan to fail. Don’t let this happen to you. Make a good plan to achieve your goals. See if you need to acquire any additional resources to help you take actions. When you have your plan ready and you know that you have everything needed at hand, you will feel like doing it no matter what the task is. You will want to take actions. That is when you feel motivated by yourself.
4. Be certain that you are someone with some purpose.
A lot of people do not believe that they can be successful. They see themselves as ordinary persons in this world. The world that most people live a mediocre life is their reality. They keep asking themselves why they should be successful while most people in the world can not. Do not let this idea comes to your mind. It will kill your motivation and kill all your possibilities of success. You are actually an extraordinary person especially to yourself. You are the one that can make yourself successful not anyone else. If you lose trust to yourself, your success will not come.
