If you have a chance to listen to Tony Robbins’ audio or attend his seminar, you may learn that the major product of Tony Robbins is not really his speech. Instead what he sells is his change technology. What Tony’s been working for more than twenty years is how to make people be able to change to be the way they want. In his own words, Tony does not like to be called “Guru” because he does not believe he has that capability. Instead, Tony prefers the term “coach”. He said that coaching is making other people do what they need to do in order to be success. He therefore calls himself a success coach. There is one relation between his success coaching and his change technology. It is that in order to be successful. To be more successful than you have ever been before, you need to be or do something different from the past. You need to change something. This is how change technology comes and plays along with his success coaching.

There are only two things that people want to change according to Tony. Yes, nothing more. People want to change only two things. Either they want to change the way they feel. Or people want to change their behavior or how they do things. Let me explain the two with more details.1. People want to change the way they feel about something.

Human beings are governed by their own emotion and feeling. A lot of time, people are influenced by the negative emotion. As a result, they perform poorly in the area they want. For example, if you are mad at someone, is there a chance that you may end up with the quarrel with your spouse or your kids. You may feel overwhelmed by the excessive workload you have. Then, your physical body may function poorly. As a result, you may end up sick al the time.

When you feel bad, your brain will not fully work well. You can not think how and what to do in order to solve problems. Your skill in any area will dramatically reduce.
You may not want to do anything. You may postpone your task until later time. All these negative results are the result of negative emotions or feelings.

2. People want to change their behavior or the pattern how they do things.

The positive result does not happen accidentally. It happens because you do something. Poor result comes from poor actions. Like in the Newton’s law, action equals reaction. You get poor result from your poor actions. Either you do not do the right thing or you do it poorly.

You will need to develop certain skills or ability to do things well and correctly. You can not do what you do in the past if you expect the better future. This is how people want to change so much and are willing to spend millions of dollars just to change the above two things.

Once you have identified what you want to change, you are not far away from your success. Tony combined the two areas gracefully. He does it so well that his customers are all happy with what he teaches and coaches.

You can too enjoy the positive change in your life by knowing what you want to change and work on how to change them. You will finally find your own way to manage both areas to your success.
